Gear

I use Nikon camera bodies and Nikkor lenses, primarily because I have been using them for over 30 years and I’m a creature of habit. And because I know and trust their products. Currently I have a Nikon D300 DSLR digital camera, a Nikon D70 DSLR and a Nikon Nikkormat FTn film camera. Lenses are a Nikkor AF-S 18-70 ED DX, Nikkor AF-S 70-300 IF-ED VR, Nikkor 70-210 AF, Nikkor 24 AF and a Lensbaby 2.0. I use High-Tech Graduated Neutral Density Filters and my trusty friends, B&W Polarizing Filters. My standard tripod is a Manfrotto 3021 with a Markins M-10 ballhead. I also use a Joby GorillaPod for odd placements and a table-top for tight situations. For post work I use Photoshop CS6, Photomatix Pro 3.2 for High Dynamic Range images and, for the artsy-fartsy stuff, Corel Painter Essential 3.
